Last year I hosted a simple neighbourhood Halloween Party I invited a few local families and the children dressed up as cute as can be!
Halloween Party Food
Ice Cream Cups
Sugar Skull Paper Cups
I asked the families to bring a plate of sweet and savory spooky food to share for a early dinner, and boy this was the best thing I have ever done hosting a party!
Mummy + Zombie Pizzas
It took so much pressure off me to prepare everything and the best part was seeing what people had created.
We had a few double ups like mummy sausages and ghost strawberries which was funny!
I decided to try out the witch face guacamole and apple monsters that I came across when I blogged about healthy Halloween party food
I totally should of referred to the picture before putting this witch together, it looks like she got a hell of a fright!
I also made bloody finger dogs
These are so easy, just grab some par-baked dinner rolls, cocktail sausages and tomato sauce!
Spider web sugar cookies

Our party games included bobbing for apples
and the donut game
After dinner we all went trick or treating on our street which was a great opportunity to meet more of our neighbours!
I am so looking forward to hosting another Halloween party this year!
Celebrating Halloween this year in conjunction with Moomookachoo’s magical days calendar
I created a monochrome Halloween table, it’s not strictly monochrome but the base elements are
When I plan a party I always start with what inspires me and key products/props I want to use
With this party I started with the monochrome sugar skull banner, mini skull balloons and our white shadow house boxes (only available to hire)
I tied in the orange of the mini Jack o’ Lantern buckets with the cheese balls in our round compotes, candy corn in the ice cream tubs and cute mini pumpkin candy
The mini skull balloons worked perfectly on balloon sticks (cut down shorter) in our ball pint jar
I made spider web sugar cookies to tie in with the spooky food, these cookies last ages so they are great to prepare before a party and to give as a favor
The kids and I decorated these cute ice cream tubs to store candy in
When I have an upcoming themed party Crazy Candies is always my go to and these vampire teeth lollies in our mini buckets are so yummy!
Mini jack o lantern pumpkins filled with candy corn on our small black milk glass cake stand as part of our hire collection
I love mixing up patterns and these black solid sweet spotted and black chevron straws work really well together in the monochrome theme with our mini milk bottles
Cobwebs and marshmallow ghost peeps are too cute
I hope you like it!
